Effective June 1, 2005, the LIFE GPA is the grade point average of all courses (excluding remedial/developmental, continuing education, or non-degree credit courses) taken at eligible institutions (in-state or out-of-state). In 2006-2007, only the LIFE GPA will determine a student's eligibility. Therefore, to assist students in calculating their LIFE GPA, the Office of Financial Assistance has developed this unofficial online calculator.
This calculator is useful for students that have taken courses at one or more eligible institutions other than CofC. For students that have only taken any courses at CofC, the LIFE GPA will be equal to the CofC GPA. This calculator will unofficially determine the LIFE GPA, students should still ensure that they have completed the correct number of credit hours at CofC and meet all other eligibility requirements.
