Repayment

• Learn about how, when, and to whom you make your federal loan payments.  You are responsible for staying in touch with your loan servicer and making your payments, even if you do not receive a bill. Forgiveness

• Teacher Loan Forgiveness - Teachers serving in low-income or subject-matter shortage areas may have an opportunity to cancel or defer their student loans.
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness - If you are employed by a government or not-for-profit organization, you may be able to receive loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
